The Dark Knight Returns four-issue series is one of the most important and influential comics to come out of the 1980s. Frank Miller's art was as electrifying as the story itself, and Lynn Varley's color work set if off perfectly. This page was created by copying the Miller linework in blue ink on 10.5" x 16.5"
Bristol board, and then hand-coloring with rich watercolors. The page was then dressed with an acetate overlay of Miller's printed linework. In Excellent condition.
