A very historic Avengers splash as this represents John Romita Sr's very first work for MARVEL before coming over from DC Comics in 1965.
Romita's work in the DC romance department is quite evident here with the beauty and lush inking featured on the Scarlet Witch. Three of the four current Avengers are featured on this amazing splash including Quicksilver and Hawkeye as well.
Pencils are by Don Heck who directly followed Jack Kirby on the Avengers for a 30 issue definitive run.
Simply put, one of the BEST very early Avengers splashes one can acquire.
